Jemima Ama Okai Esq.

Jemima is an Associate at Romanlevi & Associates. She is skilled in representing clients in highly complex and challenging disputes in the firm’s practice areas. She is a Legal Research expert and has served as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant in Human Rights Law and Natural Resources Law at the Faculty of Law of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). Prior to joining Romanlevi & Associates, Jemima has had over half a decade of experience as an educationist, both in Ghana and abroad. Jemima is a member of Pagus;Africa where she serves on the board of trustees of the Non-Governmental Organisation, Centre for Achievement, (CFA) and chairs the Governance and Finance Committee and leverages her legal profession to provide mission-driven leadership and strategic governance. Jemima obtained a first-class honours degree in Education (B.Ed) from the University of Cape Coast, an LLB from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and a Qualifying Certificate from the Ghana School of Law. She is a member in good standing of both the International Bar Association (IBA) and the Ghana Bar Association. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
