The Honourable Chief Justice of the Republic, Her Ladyship Justice Gertrude Sackey Torkornoo has forwarded the petition by Mr. Martin Amidu for the removal of the Special Prosecutor, Mr. Kissi Agyebeng to him for comments.

The Chief Justice has forwarded the petition to the learned Special Prosecutor to enable her make a prima facie case for his removal in accordance with section 15 of the Office of the Special Prosecutor Act 2017 (Act 959) (O.S.P Act).

Section 15 of the O.S.P Act provides the process for the removal of the Special Prosecutor. The process is outlined as follows:
