Lawyers for Strategic Mobilisation Ghana Limited (SML), Messrs Boyuo@Law has issued a cease and desist notice to all media houses to stop the publication of false and defamatory statements against their Client and avoid the offer of their platforms for the publications of such statements.

In the demand notice of SML through Messrs Boyuo@Law under the hand of the Head of Chambers, the learned Cephas Boyuo, statements made by individuals against SML on its "corporate existence, credibility and operations" following a report from the Office of the Special Prosecutor on the contract of SML with the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) are false, baseless and defamatory.

In their demand notice to all media houses dated today, 4th November, 2025, SML through their lawyers, Messrs Boyuo@Law demand the following, a breach of which the notice warns of legal consequences :

"1. Cease and desist immediately from inviting individuals or allowing the broadcast, publication, or dissemination of false or defamatory statements regarding our Client, its directors, officers, or operations.

2. Exercise due care and editorial oversight by being mindful of what statements or opinions guests make on your platforms, and take all reasonable steps to prevent the dissemination of false or defamatory information about our Client.

3. Take all reasonable steps to prevent the recurrence of such defamatory publications by ensuring thorough editorial verification, fact-checking, and monitoring of your content."
