Her Ladyship the Chief Justice, Justice Gertrude Sackey Torkornoo has directed the transfer of 200 cases from the Sagakope and Denu High Courts in the Volta Region to the High Courts "2" and "3" in Ho.

The transfer of the cases is pursuant to the laudable vision of the learned Chief Justice to reduce case loads of courts across the country for the effective and timely disposal of cases. The Sogakape and Denu High Courts have been identified as one of the court with relatively high number of cases being filed.

The de-congestion of the caseload of the Sogakope and Denu High Courts follows the piloting of the court shift system deployed the Chief Justice and the launch of the vision of the Chief Justice which includes speedier dispatch of cases.

The cases transferred to the Ho High Courts are listed below. Cases transferred from Sogakope High Court will be taken to Ho High Court "2". Ho High Court "3" will take over the transferred cases from Denu High Court.
