The learned former Chief Justice of the Republic of Ghana, Her Ladyship Justice Torkornoo has filed at the High Court of the Republic of Ghana, an application to quash her removal from office of Chief Justice.

In her certiorari application filed today, the 17th day of September, 2025, she seeks through her lawyers declarative reliefs that the Justice Pwamang Committee is improperly constituted and that the warrant of the President emanating from the recommendation of the committee void and of no legal consequence.

She thus requests from the court orders to quash the warrant of removal of the President dated the 1st day of September, 2025.
