The Judicial Secretary, Her Ladyship Justice Cynthia Pamela Addo has directed all courts and all registrars to only provide parties and lawyers with copies of Judgments and court orders after the production of their Ghana cards.

This directive was given as far as 31st January, 2024. This directive from the Judicial Secretary has been posted on some court notice boards across the country with indication of immediate implementation of same.

The move by the administrators of our courts signals integration processes by the courts and registries with Ghana's National Identification systems. Prior to this directive, Ghana cards were produced for copies of judgments and orders in mainly probate matters.
