Our Star of the Month is a Justice of Ghana’s Court of Appeal Bench and one of the youngest Justices on this Bench. His life has been a devotion to his society through the law. Our Star has legal experience as varied as it can get.

His legal career began at the KNUST Law Faculty where he was a teaching assistant. He was appointed a lecturer in 2004, rose to the position of Senior Lecturer and then finally presided over the Faculty as its Dean until his appointment as a Justice of the Court of Appeal in 2023. His devotion to legal knowledge saw him acquire a Masters degree in Law in 2004 in the UK and his Doctoral Degree in 2017 also in the UK.

He is proudly a member of the World Medical Law Association and the Society of Legal Scholars (UK). Our Star has vast institutional management and board room experience. He has had the privilege of headship/membership of high-profile Boards. He possess admirable litigation practice experience in all levels of our courts with and through his firm, Owusu-Dapaa Law and Associates headquartered in Kumasi.

Our Star has the benefit of corporate law practice through engagement as a transactional lawyer and consultant for international law firms and clients. Our Star is the first and only Ghanaian author in the legal field with a book on Ghanaian Medical law. Many are his publications and many are those who have been minted as legal professionals and scholars by our Star. The Law Platform proudly celebrates the young, learned and respected JUSTICE DR.
