The Greater Accra Bar under the leadership of its third female President, the respected Isabel Boateng hosted freshly called lawyers to the Bar in an orientation programme third of its kind in the Region.

Fresh Lawyers from firms, Departments, both public and private patronized the event as held on Monday, the 2nd day of December, 2024, which was attended by the learned record-setting Bar President, Efua Ghartey, her Vice President, the dependable Victoria Barth and the Secretary to the Regional Bar Executive Committee.

Speakers in attendance who gave insightful views to new lawyers of the the practicalities of the profession were the learned Ace Anan Ankomah, the Dean of the University of Ghana School of Law, Prof. Raymond Atuguba who spoke on Public Interest work and academia by lawyers, Mrs Victoria Barth on legal ethics Among others.

The Presidents of the functional fora of the Ghana Bar Association, the Women's and In-House Counsel Fora were also present to share with the 'fresh wigs' the duties of lawyers on the field or in actual practice.

The maiden orientation programme for newly enrolled lawyers was held at the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons, Ridge, Accra. Below are some scenes from the well patronised event.
