Our Star is a lecturer and administrator with significant service in legal education and governance in Ghana. Our Star proudly stands as the Longest-serving Director of Legal Education and Director of Ghana School of Law.
Prior to his elevation to directorship of the School, he was a Senior Lecturer at the Ghana School of Law teaching practical conveyancing, land law, drafting of deeds and documents. Before joining academia, he worked in banking (at what became Republic Bank (Ghana)) as Head of Recoveries.
Our Star is a Partner at the legal consultancy firm Lex‑Eck Consult in Accra. He is on the board of the Ghana Integrity Initiative (GII) and has held membership on the Legal Aid Commission and other governance-oriented boards.
He is the founding member of the Ghana Association of Certified Mediators and Arbitrators (GHACMA). Due to his in-depth knowledge and capacity, Our Star serves as a resource person at the Judicial Training Institute and the National Banking College.
Other positions our Star has held include member of the Board of the Legal Aid Commission and long-serving Board member of PIE Ghana, an affiliate of Progress in Education, a charitable organization which for the past twenty-four years has raised thousands of dollars in funds and purchased lab equipment, computers, printers, etc., which have been distributed to a number of Senior High Schools and tertiary institutions in Ghana.
Our Star is also a member of the Board of Transparency International Ghana, an affiliate of Transparency International. The Law Platform proudly celebrates the hardworking, learned and humble Henry Kwasi Prempeh-Eck Esq.
