The wise King of the Ashanti Kingdom, the respected Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, a distinguished honorary member of the Ghana Bar Association has implored politicians and political parties to desist the attack on judges for political ends.

The respected Asantehene implored political actors and political parties and ordinary persons to desist from this conduct at a dinner held for the Ghana Bar Association by the distinguished King. The dinner was held at the Manyhia Palace which saw in attendance some 700 lawyers and Justices of the Superior Courts.

In his address, the respected Royal said Judges should be allowed the room to discharge their constitutionally mandated duties of delivering Justice. Otumfuo Osei Tutu who prior to this advice to all political actors had spoken on the importance of traditional adjudication advised politicians to "think carefully before lambast(ing) judges."
