Company registration documents of Bills Micro Credit Ltd available to The Law Platform discloses Mad. Joana Quaye as a director and shareholder of Bills Micro Credit Ltd.

The disclosure of the directorship of Mad Joana Quaye comes on the heels of her fresh writ filed at the commercial division of the High Court seeking amongst others the nullification of meetings of the Board of Bills Micro Credit Ltd. which according to her writ were all held in her absence and without notice to her.

The registration documents of Bills Micro Credit Ltd. in accordance with the Companies Act has Mr. Richard Nii Armah Quaye as the company Secretary and a Director in addition to his ex-wife as a director and shareholder.

In her writ filed on her behalf by Messrs Dame & Partners, the Plaintiff-shareholder seeks the Court to undo what she terms as fraudulent transfers of her shares and stake in the company since its creation a decade and a half ago. In aid of her case, and per procedure rules, she thus endorses on her writ the particulars of fraud of the unlawful transfer of her shares without her consent.

Per the writ filed on the 10th day of June, 2026, the 2nd Defendant, Kobina Awuah, is alleged to be the beneficiary of the alleged unlawful transfer of shares and company directorship of Mad Joana Quaye.

Registrar to be ordered

The Office of the Registrar of companies is named as the 4th Defendant to the case of Mad. Joana Quaye. For the Registrar, she seeks orders directed at it for the removal from its records any registration of share ownership of the 2nd Defendant, One Kobina Awuah without her consent of share transfer.
