Her Ladyship Justice Cynthia Pamela Addo in a bizarre fashion has backtracked on her directive issued to all registrars of all court to provide copies of judgments and orders to lawyers and parties after duly providing their Ghana card.

In a circular dated 28th of February, 2024, the Judicial Secretary distanced herself from a circular issued and under her own hand requesting an application of a no-Ghana card, no copies of judgment or orders policy. The surprising u-turn of the Judicial Secretary is captured in the image below:

It is believed the office of the Chief Justice and the Judicial Secretary are keen on curbing fraudulent and improper use of orders and judgments of the court. According to sources of The Law Platform, the need for these measures were heightened after incidents of some persons forging orders came to the attention of the managers of our Justice delivery system.
